Uncaged Symphony
The world hums a melody, a well-worn tune, A rhythm of expectations, beneath a painted moon. But a dissonant note stirs within my soul, A yearning to break free, to lose control.
The walls they built, of “should” and “ought,” Confine my spirit, clip my soaring thought. A chorus whispers, “Stay within the lines,” But a wildfire burns, with a passion that shines.
I’ll shed the mask, the borrowed, muted guise, Embrace the chaos, the fire in my eyes. Let the rhythm falter, let the melody bend, For a symphony uncaged, is a symphony without end.
The world may scoff, at the path I may tread, But the symphony’s mine, in my own heart led. For true beauty lies, in the colors unseen, In the melody that breaks, and starts anew, pristine.
So let the music soar, on untamed wings, A symphony of defiance, the freedom it sings. Uncaged and vibrant, a masterpiece untold, A story unwritten, waiting to unfold.
Busy streets and honking horns, People rush, a blur of forms. But slow down now, and take a look, At pigeons cooing by the book.
Sun peeks through the clouds so high, Warmth on skin, a butterfly Flits by a flower, bright and bold, A story whispered, yet untold.
Raindrops fall, a gentle drum, Pitter-patter, overcome By the scent of blooming trees, A gentle breeze whispers through the leaves.
City lights begin to glow, Stars peek out, a twinkling show. The world keeps turning, soft and slow, Find your peace, let your worries go.
